I am getting ready to pick up my brother in NYC to come back and spend the day and such. I have a sinus headache - got drugs!?!? (well sinus pills that is...) Going to clean up around the apartment before Mom and I head out but I was just thinking....FOUR MORE DAYS TILL ****Fingerprinting time**** How weird, how many people in the world get excited about being fingerprinted? Well, besides 'us'....

Ahh..GOOD News...

....today I finally received my USCIS fingerprint appointment. I am scheduled for April 3, 2008 @ 0800 hrs. Yes my fellow PAP's...one more step closer to reaching Nicholas. Now I am online mapping out the route to the location and then on to work...ugh. Wish I hit the Mega Millions but....being loaded or not, I'd still be waiting, right? Well..

Nothing new to report as yet. Haven't heard a lick from USCIS yet, but this coming Tuesday will be 2 weeks since I dropped off my Home Study, CHECK, Birth Certificate....oh and my I600A form...

I did buy Nicholas some books, did I mention that in my last post? If I did, sorry for repeating myself. But I also came across about 15+ additional books here in the house. I had purchased these a bunch of years ago and put them away, in the HOPES that one day I would be a Mommy!

I must thank my fellow adoption-ite Kim for really making the most out of my blog. She's a real pro, unlike myself.

So, did I mention that I received my homestudy reports? Well I headed over to US CIS in NYC and hand delivered my I600A form and supporting documents. I am yet another step closer to bringing my son home! My family and I are psyched but, soon, the official WAIT begins...Bring it on!! Talk to you later my son, Love Mommy

Yes another step closer...

Well, it's official. I have progressed to the next phrase!! Today, when I got home from work, waiting for me was (3) three copies of my Home Study all notarized and ready for me to go down to US CIS to file my I600A! Uh, yeah, I will be there tomorrow!! I am soooooo excited. I know I have a long way to go yet but, I'm still another step closer to meeting my son! Ah, that is so refreshing...MY SON! So, wish me luck, a speedy fingerprinting appointment and a quick approval, so that I can get on THIS WAITING LIST ALREADY!! Considering I mailed my initial application to my agency on 12-3-07, I don't think I'm doing too badly, three months later, am I? Nicholas, Mommy will be there before you know it. Sweet dreams angel, Love Mommy!!

$1, $2, $3....

Counting....ah who's counting. So what I've bought 9 receiving blankets, I lost count of how many bodysuits! This, is my therapy!! So tonight, I had a two-hour therapy session! It cost me $65.00 (more than my ins. co-pay) but...ah, like I said earlier......who's counting! Good night Nicholas, Love Mommy!

Work! Overrated..

Hi again, I'm sitting here, still coughing, dreading my return to work tomorrow. Hmm - never know, could get a relapse and another 103 fever!! Ah, that's not good but it's still better than going to work.

Today, I took some snapshots of the things that Nicholas has accumulated! It's not much, YET!!...Wanna see? Ok, I'll upload some pics.

Ok little one....Mommy is going to watch more "I Love Lucy" dvd's!
